Blank copy of images / icons saved in Gallery

corrupted picture gallery in android, black images saved in gallery

I got the solution . Goto Settings --> Application --> All --> Media Storage --> Clear Data. Rebooted the device, waited for 10-15 mins for the cleared data (images + songs) to get reloaded.
